Greetings From Around The World..

OK just Arizona, but we have traveled and seen more in the last 2months than we have in the past 5 years! We decided as important as it is to save money it is equally important to do fun things! So we picked up and went to visit Todds sister and her family in Arizona. We had a fun trip! We stopped 1st in Las Vegas and had lunch with Luke, Jess, Jet and their boys! It was fun to see them all and Chan loved being able to see Grant! We arrived in AZ on Sat night. We were so happy to see the Nielsons and be able to spend the week with them. They just bought a beautiful home in Queen Creek,AZ and Ash has done an incredible job of decorating and making it very homey! We had an eventful week..We went to Amazing Jakes which is alot like a Chucky Cheese. Chandler was so brave on the rides and he wanted to ride the Frog Hopper which is a kid version of the ride on the Stratosphere. It amazes me how daring he is sometimes. We were able to see the Mesa Temple, which is beautiful! We played tennis and did some shopping. We were able to attend a Mariners/Royals baseball game. It was so fun and the kids had a blast. Chandler even got a foul ball!! The kids had so much fun just riding bikes and being together. Chandler had been so excited to see Lexi and he did NOT want to come home. Lexi and Trey are adorable kids and so smart. Trey amazes me with how well he is at signing and talking and Lexis vocabulary and the things she says are simply hilarious. Ash is such a great mom to take the time to teach them. It was fun being able to just sit and talk with Ash and Cody. Ash has been an incredible sister in law. I love just talking with her because I feel like we have a lot in common and I have a lot I can learn from her. She is always up to learning the newest cooking trend or jewlery trend and she is very talented in both areas. She is so beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. I loved being able to spend time with her. We are thankful Cody took the week off of work to spend with us. He is a hard worker and it was cute cuz every morning Lexi would say," Youre not going to work today are you dad." She was so excited to have him home and you can tell what a great involved father he is. We really appreciate their hospitality! ON the way home we decided to go to the Grand Canyon. The Nielsons came with us and it was so fun. While we were driving there we saw the Deer Farm. This was total DeJavu for me because I totally remember coming here as a kid but I had no idea it was still up and running. Chandler loved it. There are deer walking around and you can just pet them and feed them. At first he was a little hesitant but after a few minutes he loved it and kept wanting to buy more food! He got to see a lot of other animals and even feed a camel. A little pricey but I was SO glad we stopped!! The Grand Canyon was breathtaking. I dont know how you could see that and not believe in God. How incredible his creations are. As pretty as it was we learned the hard way it is not a place for wild and crazy 3 year ols!! Or 18 months olds! Next time adults only! They were just to busy and it was nerve racking to have them run around! All in All we had an incredible week. It was so fun to spend the week with my amazing husband and pretend we dont have any worries!! We love our families and are so grateful to see them and learn from their examples!

I had to add this picture..Chandler was so sad because we forgot his swimsuit in the car when we were at the mall. So when Lexi and Trey got theirs on and went to play in the splash park Chandler threw the hugest fit. He didn't want to play unless he had his swimsuit. So ASh mentioned that she had this one of Lexis and his eyes lit up. He wanted to go in so bad he didnt care what the suit looked like. That is until he put it on. We laughed and he cried. He was embarrased. Luckily he fit into Brodys and the rest of the time he was good...Until Todd couldnt find him anywhere and looked around and Chandler was peeing on the tree..at the mall..in front of everyone. Thank heavens he's only 3!!

I am glad you had a great time! Chan is going to be more embarrased when we pull those out when he is 18. He is so funny.
