Some random events of the past month..

This is the "Tough Kid" bike ride. it was just a 2 mile bike ride and the kids got a free helmet and got to learn about bike safety. Worst part was that our kids didn't have helmets! They didn't get the free ones until after the bike ride so we were there to learn about bike safety and we didn't even have helmets on our kids!! Chandler and Grant did great and Todd pulled Brody and Logan in the bike trailor. Everyone was amazed that they could ride without training wheels!

I bought this trailor at a yard sale for $20!! It is in excellent condition and my kids LOVE it! The only down fall is that we don't even have bikes!! I purchased the wrong item first I think.

One day Todd called me and said that he had gotten us a room in Mesquite because he had to work early the next morning. But since we have 3 kids and no bbsitter
we brought the kids along with us! I thought it would be fun to let the kids swim and just hang out by the pool. We got down there and the wind was blowing so hard we couldn't even swim. So i ended up trapped in the motel with 3 kids until Todd got off work. My kids got pretty restless so we headed to McDonalds, the only indoor play place in Mesquite. The kids played great and then we decided to go to the arcade and take them bowling. Not romantic as Todd had planned but still a really fun mini-vacation with my best friends!!

Chandler tried to take Stella down the slide at McDs! If Stella makes it to 1 years old I will be shocked!

With all of his tickets from the arcade Chandler chose this medal that says #1! I guess his competitive jeans are coming through!
I don't know who enjoyed the arcade more, The boys or Todd!

Brody and I cheering on Dad andChandler

These 2 loved the hotel! Chandler kept saying he loved our new condo! It was a little rough to get them to sleep in the samebed but after a spanking or 2 they were asleep. I asked Chan if he had fun at the hotel and he said, "Ya. But not at night cuz dad kept hitting us cuz remember Brody wouldn't leave me alone and I was trying to sleep." I had to laugh cuz Todds spankings are as far from a hit as you can get!

Our little Angel! She just hangs out and tags along for the ride!

Stellas 1st pony tail!!! She has so much hair and I am not sure what to do with it. It just gets messed up when she sleeps or is in her carseat so today we tried a Pony tail! It worked but it made her look to grown up so it didn't stay:( Also notice her new earrings!!

This bike ride looked like so much fun! I'll bet the kids loved it! These are the cutest pictures of the kids! It sounds like a fun little trip to Mesquite, not a romantic get away, but the kids love little nights in a motel. You are right about Todd! He is quite the push over when it comes to discipline.

Rikki~ How fun for you to have a little gettaway. The bike ride looked like a blast! I Love stuff like that! Don't worry we havn't had a romantic gettaway since we started having kids. Your kids are adorable. Little Stella is darling in my outfit and bow I sent her..I might add:) She looks like she is growing good. I think she looks like the chan-man in the picture with her hair in a ponytail. I can't wait to hold her.

I love the picture of chan at the bowling alley. he cracks me up. Little Stella has so much hair, she could have had a pony tail at a week old. Your family is amazing and I am going to miss you so much.

Oh my gosh, Stella is a little doll! What a cutie. Looks like you had a fun little trip. So, are the kids supposed to wear bike helmets in the bike trailers, as well? If that's the case, we are naughty parents 'cause our girls never wear one while they're in that thing.

Oh, and about Todd and arcades...you should have seen him at the arcade place I met him at while he was in town for his training. He was so into the games and was acting like a little kid. It was cute! Plus, he was nice enough to give the tickets he won, to me, so that the girls could pick out a prize.

Anyway, your kids are cutie pies and it will be great to see you in a few days.
