Todds Big Adventure

Todd had the chance to go with our Stake on a 500 mile bike ride! There were about 50 young men and 25 leaders as well as a food commitee and support vehicles. They rode from Salt Lake back to Las Vegas! They have been doing training rides since January. He had an awesome experience and I am so glad he was able to go. While he was gone Ash and her family came to stay for the week and Grandma Kate flew in on Wed. It was fun to spend time with Todds family and have some company while he was gone!

The morning they left to SLC. We dropped Todd off at the church and they took a bus to SLC. They attended church there and were able to go to Temple Square.

We made these shirts for the boys. And I hope Todd appreciated them because they were made at about 10:45 the morning the guys came home. The guys were supposed to be home by 12! So we were running around trying to get these made!

We could not wait for Todd to get home! The kids and I missed him soooo much!

Lexi, Brody, Trey, Chandler and Grandma Kate.

Everyone waiting to see Todd ride in!

Miss Stella waiting patiently. She loves eating rocks!

The guys finally got in at about 2:00. It was the neatest thing to see them all ride in with their matching jerseys. You could feel the strength these young men and their leaders have.

My Dad Rocks

Wat to go Babe, I am so proud of you! I am so glad that you were able to do something for yourself and find a fun hobby. You are a great example to our children and I am glad you showed them how to set a goal, train and accomplish that goal! You have amazing strength! I love you so much and I really am so proud of you!!!

Todd,
I am so proud of all your hard work to prepare for the long trek! I feel so lucky to have been able to be there to see you all come home. There was definitely a special feeling there and it just reinforced what I have always known: You have always set high goals for yourself and have never been afraid to do whatever it takes to accomplish them!! Good job Todd. Not only did you accomplish your goal, but you developed a love for biking and that is something you can do forever. Grandpa Belnap is still riding his bike and Grandpa Ray rode his until about 2 mo. before he passed away!
